curiosity loop

Learning experiences that spark curiosity and build technical skill.
What We Do
Curiosity Loop is a learning studio that designs clear, engaging educational experiences to help people build technical skills. We create tutorials, documentation, onboarding content, and workshops that make technical skills accessible, helping learners move quickly from understanding to implementation. With expertise in data science, AI, and adult learning, we pair strong coding skills with a solid foundation in learning science to deliver content that’s practical, well-structured, and impactful. Our approach is shaped by past collaborations with organizations like Columbia Engineering, UC Berkeley School of Information, IBM, and edX. If you're developing a tool, platform, or program to help people learn, we’d love to support your work.

Ginny Perkey

Founder & Principal Consultant
For nearly two decades, Ginny has designed, written, and led the development of learning experiences on complex topics like artificial intelligence, data science, and physics—always with a focus on making the intimidating feel approachable. She brings a unique blend of technical expertise and pedagogical insight to her work. With a bachelor’s degree in physics from American University and a master’s in information and data science from UC Berkeley, Ginny bridges the gap between subject matter expertise and effective learning design. Her experience spans online courses, hands-on workshops, technical documentation, onboarding content, and large-scale training programs.Over the course of her career, she has partnered with universities, startups, and enterprise clients—including Columbia Engineering, the UC Berkeley School of Information, IBM, and edX—to create content that is practical, learner-centered, and grounded in learning science. At Curiosity Loop, she continues this work by consulting on curriculum strategy, writing and editing technical content, and facilitating learning experiences that spark curiosity and build skill.
